We want  more startup and business accelerator programmes, and more knowledge sharing between entrepreneurs in Africa and the developed world.

We  connect local entrepreneurs here in Kenya with mentors in, for example, Norway using videoconferencing and social media, but also live by starting a exchange programme and volunteering opportunities..


Our local entrepreneurs can get knowledge and hopefully access to partners and funding, and our mentors will get access to investment opportunities and knowledge about an up and coming emerging market.


Connect in Africa was founded on the premise that skilled professionals in developed countries, in particular business people, could have a genuine impact on poverty in developing countries by providing appropriate and targeted mentoring support to individuals in those countries.


In return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment, we will offer you one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of your life. You will work closely with a number of small businesses in Kenya, providing one-to-one mentoring support to each of them. This experience will open you up to new challenges in a completely new environment, and will give you a fascinating range of case studies to learn from and to draw upon during the rest of your career.
